Sample Preparation Instructions
Sample Extraction Solution Preparation

Mix 70mL methanol with 30mL dimethyl sulfoxide and set aside for use.

Pepper Oil Sample Preparation
(1) Weigh 0.5g homogenized sample into container, add 25mL sample extraction solution, vortex for 2 minutes
(2) Centrifuge at 4000rpm for 5 minutes
(3) Take 0.1mL supernatant, add 9.9mL deionized water, mix well
(4) Take 0.1mL mixed solution, add 0.9mL deionized water, mix well
(5) Take 0.1mL mixed solution, add 0.1mL sample diluent, mix well
Dilution Factor: 1
For samples exceeding the detection limit: Add an additional dilution step between steps (2) and (3) by diluting the liquid from step (2) with methanol to an appropriate multiple before proceeding. Multiply the final result by this dilution multiple.
Hotpot Condiment Sample Preparation

Hot pot base should be heated until melted before weighing. Samples containing solid particles require homogenization first.

(1) Weigh 3.0g homogenized sample into container, add 30mL sample extraction solution, vortex for 2 minutes
(2) Centrifuge at 4000rpm for 5 minutes
(3) Take 1mL supernatant, add 4mL sample extraction solution, mix well
(4) Take 0.1mL mixed liquid, add 9.9mL deionized water, mix well
(5) Take 0.1mL mixed solution, add 0.9mL deionized water, mix well
(6) Take 0.1mL mixed solution, add 0.1mL sample diluent, mix well
